What size electric fireplace do I need for my room?
Start with the look and wall space rather than heat. These are supplemental heaters — most Napoleon electric models warm roughly 400–500 sq ft on their built-in heater, so size by the wall you want to fill: 36" and 42" Elevation models suit standard walls and small-to-mid rooms, while the 50" and 62" Astound units anchor wide feature walls and larger, open spaces. Do I need a gas line or venting?
No. Every fireplace in this collection is fully electric — no gas line, no venting, and no chimney. There's no combustion, so you can install one on virtually any interior wall, including places a gas fireplace can't go.

Both options are supported. You can plug into a standard 120V outlet for the simplest setup, or hardwire for a clean, cord-free finish. Most models are designed as built-ins that recess into a framed wall, and the Astound 50" FlexMount can be either wall-mounted or recessed.
