What size fireplace do I need for my room?
As a rough guide, plan for about 5,000–10,000 BTU per 400–500 sq ft, though ceiling height, insulation, and whether the fireplace is your primary or supplemental heat all factor in. Natural gas or propane — and can I switch later?
Choose the fuel that matches your home's current supply. Every model is offered in both natural gas and propane configurations, and Kingsman makes conversion kits if your fuel source changes down the road. Is the remote control included?
On electronic-ignition (IPI / ProFlame 2) models, a full-featured remote is included. On millivolt models, the fireplace comes with an on/off wall switch, with a remote available as an option. Each product page lists exactly what's included for that configuration.
Do I need professional installation?
Yes. These are direct-vent, sealed-combustion gas fireplaces that vent outside, and they should be installed by a licensed gas fitter or qualified installer to meet code and protect your warranty. We can connect you with certified installers if you'd like a referral.
