Who is eligible to become a Referral Partner?
This program is open to licensed professionals and home industry experts who regularly work with homeowners — such as contractors, designers, builders, real estate agents, electricians, and HVAC professionals. All applications are manually reviewed and approved by Lumiflares. We reserve the right to deny applications that do not meet our eligibility criteria.
How many times can a customer use the referral code?
The referral code gives a customer $100 off their first order only. Once used, the discount will not apply to any future orders from that customer.
Can I share my referral code publicly online?
No. Referral codes are intended for direct professional referrals only. Posting your code on coupon sites, deal forums, or public social media accessible to anyone is a violation of the partner agreement and may result in your account being deactivated.
How do I get paid?
We pay via Zelle or PayPal by the 15th of every month for all new customer first purchases completed the previous month. You'll provide your preferred payment method when you sign the partner agreement.
Is there a minimum number of referrals required?
No minimums. Refer one customer or one hundred — there are no requirements to stay in the program.
What counts as a completed sale?
A sale is considered completed once the order has been paid in full and fulfilled. Cancelled, refunded, or disputed orders do not qualify for a referral fee.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, once approved we'll send you a simple Referral Partner Agreement to review and sign digitally. It covers the commission structure, payment terms, and your referral code details.
Will I receive a 1099 tax form?
If your total earnings reach $600 or more in a calendar year, we are required to issue a 1099-NEC form. We'll ask you to complete a W-9 before your first payment.
Can I refer as many people as I want?
Absolutely. There is no cap on the number of referrals or your total earnings. The more customers you send our way, the more you earn.
