A 50-inch linear electric fireplace with orange and yellow flame, a spark effect and 13 ember bed and top light colors. No gas line, no venting, no flue.

Hang it with no framing at all, recess it partway, or build it in fully. Set it up as a 1-, 2- or 3-sided fireplace for a room divider or peninsula, and the flame shows from more than one angle.

The Astound FlexMount 50" is the most adaptable fireplace in the Astound family. Hang it on the wall with no framing at all, recess it partway, or build it in fully — and configure it as a 1-, 2-, or 3-sided fireplace so the flame shows from more than one angle. There's no flue, no vent run, and no gas line, so it goes where a vented fireplace can't.
Orange and yellow flames with a spark effect, 13 ember bed and top light colors, and both the Beach Fire logs and Woodland media kit in the box. Best for renters and condo owners who can't open walls, room dividers and peninsulas, and anyone who wants to decide on the install style later.

Questions Buyers Ask Before Ordering
Will it fit my wall?
It can hang on the wall, recess partway or build in fully. Exact dimensions and clearances are in the Napoleon installation manual; send us your measurements and we will confirm the fit, and send the manual, before you order.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes. The FlexMount is hardwired only, at 120V or 240V. Plan for a licensed electrician, and choose the voltage before wiring, since it sets the heat output.
How much heat does it give?
Up to 10,000 BTU (3,000 W) at 240V, or 5,000 BTU (1,500 W) at 120V. It is supplemental heat, and the flame runs without the heater.
Can it show flame on more than one side?
Yes. It configures as a 1-, 2- or 3-sided fireplace, which suits room dividers and peninsulas.
FlexMount or Built-in: which should I choose?
Choose the FlexMount if you want to hang it on the wall without framing, show the flame on two or three sides, or keep your installation options open. Choose the Astound Built-in if you are framing a wall anyway and want a fully flush, recessed look.
Do I need to buy the media separately?
No. Both the Beach Fire log set and the Woodland media kit ship in the box, along with the finishing edge panels and trim.
Can I mount a TV above it?
Electric fireplaces are generally friendlier to a TV above than gas, since there is no flue and far less heat travelling up the wall. Follow the clearances in the Napoleon installation manual for this model; email us and we will send the current version before you install.
What if it arrives damaged?
Note any box damage on the delivery receipt and tell us, ideally within 48 hours. Every shipment is insured; we handle the claim and the replacement.
What if it is not right for my room?
You have 30 days to return it under our return policy.

Every fireplace ships free by freight carrier, fully insured, with liftgate service included at no charge. In-stock orders leave the warehouse in 1–3 business days, and the carrier calls you to book a delivery time that suits you.
You're covered from our warehouse to your curb
Every shipment is insured for its full value. If anything isn't right when it arrives, tell us as soon as you can (ideally within 48 hours) and we'll arrange a replacement or a full refund — at no cost to you.
We ship it and send you tracking
In-stock orders leave the warehouse in 1–3 business days. You'll get an email with your freight tracking number when it ships.

The carrier calls the phone number on your order to book a delivery window that works for you.

- Need a different day? Call the carrier and they'll rebook it.
Take a quick look before you sign
Give the packaging a once-over while the driver is there. It takes a minute.
- If the box looks fine, sign and you're done.
- If you see a dent, tear or crushed corner, write a short note on the delivery receipt and take a photo.
- Not sure what to do? Write what you see on the delivery receipt before signing and take a photo. Then call 877-879-9191 or email us and we'll handle it from there.
Inspect your fireplace within 48 hours
Unpack your fireplace and look it over as soon after delivery as you can.
- If anything isn't right, email photos of the item and packaging, plus your order number, to support@lumiflares.com.
- Hold on to the original packaging until you're happy with everything.
- We handle the claim with the carrier and arrange your replacement or refund, and we keep you updated along the way.
We recommend reporting within 48 hours of delivery. Freight carriers set tight windows for damage claims, so the sooner we hear from you, the faster we can resolve it. If you notice something later, still reach out and we'll help however we can.
