Kingsman Fireplaces has been engineering premium gas fireplaces in North America for over 50 years. Their lineup covers everything from traditional log-set fireplaces to sleek modern linear designs — and with so many models available, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming.
This guide breaks down the Kingsman lineup so you can find the right fireplace for your space, style, and budget.
Know Your Venting Situation
Before you choose a model, you need to know how you'll vent it. All Kingsman fireplaces are direct vent — they use a sealed two-pipe system that draws air in from outside and exhausts combustion gases back outdoors.
- Horizontal venting — the vent exits through an exterior wall. Most common for first-floor installations.
- Vertical venting — the vent exits through the roof. Works well for interior rooms or second-floor installations.
Your licensed installer will determine the best configuration for your space.
Choose Your Series
Kingsman organizes their direct vent lineup into three main series:
Clean View (ZCV / MCVST Series)
The flagship line. Traditional warmth with realistic log sets and glowing ember beds, plus modern linear options with fire glass media. Available from 34" to 60"+.
Best for: Living rooms, family rooms, primary bedrooms, and statement fireplaces.
Heritage (HBZDV Series)
A traditional dual burner design with a deep firebox, brick liner options, and highly realistic log sets. Kingsman's most classic-looking line.
Best for: Traditional and transitional home styles, formal living rooms.
Linear (ZCVRB Series)
A contemporary linear design with a wide, low-profile firebox and dramatic fire glass media. The clean, architectural look that defines modern fireplace design.
Best for: Contemporary and modern interiors, open-concept spaces, media walls.
Choose Your Configuration
- See-Through — glass on two sides, visible from two rooms simultaneously. Perfect for open floor plans.
- Peninsula (Three-Sided) — glass on three sides, a freestanding centerpiece visible from all angles. A true architectural statement.
Select Your Size
- 26"–34" — bedrooms, small living rooms, offices
- 36"–42" — standard living rooms and family rooms
- 43"–47" — large living rooms and open floor plans
- 60"+ — great rooms, commercial spaces, grand statement installations
Choose Your Fuel Type
- Natural Gas (NG) — connected to your home's gas line
- Liquid Propane (LP) — stored in an on-site tank
Select your fuel type at the time of purchase. Conversions after installation require a kit and a licensed technician.
Choose Your Ignition
- Millivolt — a standing pilot light that operates independently of electricity. Great for areas with frequent power outages.
- IPI (Intermittent Pilot Ignition) — ignites on demand, uses less gas, compatible with remote control and smart home systems.
Some models include Proflame 2, Kingsman's advanced remote control system with thermostat, timer, and flame adjustment.
