The Kingsman Clean View 42" brings an expansive, louver-free glass face to a 42-inch firebox — flush to the wall, with the fire itself front and centre. At 37 1/8" wide by 31 3/4" high it is the largest viewing area in Kingsman's Clean View zero-clearance family, sized for great rooms and open-plan living where a 34- or 39-inch unit would look lost.
Zero-clearance and fully sealed direct vent, so it can be installed almost anywhere in the home and vented horizontally through a wall or vertically through the roof — no chimney required. The millivolt valve operates during a power outage; IPI electronic ignition is available where you want the convenience.

Make it yours
The ZCV42 is built to be configured rather than bought off a shelf. Choose the fuel and ignition, then the media that sets the mood — a traditional fibre log stack, driftwood for something softer, or a glass tray filled with ember glass, cannonballs, or decorative stones. Layer in a liner behind it and a surround or designer door in front, and no two installations look the same.
A note on compatibility: driftwood, cannonballs, decorative stones, and all ember glass require the ZCV42GT glass tray — and the glass tray cannot be used with the refractory brick liners, so those builds pair with the Porcelain Reflective liner instead. Call us before you order and we will make sure the configuration you want is one that actually goes together.
Mount a TV above it
The ZCV42 supports Kingsman's Cool Touch Wall Technology. Venting the chase keeps the wall above the fireplace cool to the touch — the difference between a spot you can hang a television or artwork and one you can't. It also lets combustible material cover the face of the unit and lowers the minimum mantel height. Minimum enclosure height for a vented chase is 72"; consult the installation manual for grill sizing and clearances.

Arrived damaged? You're covered. Report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We file the claim with the supplier, send you a return label once it's approved, and ship you a new unit free of charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is venting included?
No. The direct vent pipe and termination depend on your vent run (length, elbows, wall or roof exit), so your installer sizes and sources them.
Do I need a professional to install it?
Yes — a zero-clearance gas fireplace should be framed, vented, and connected by a licensed gas installer to meet local code and protect your warranty. Call us before you hire one and we'll walk you through what the installation involves.
What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the carton and unit before the driver leaves, and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Then email support@lumiflares.com with photos within 48 hours of delivery. We file the claim with the supplier, send you a return label once it's approved, and ship you a new unit free of charge.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as the unit is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging. Contact us first for a return authorization. Change-of-mind returns carry a 25% restocking fee, return shipping is paid by the customer, and the original shipping isn't refunded. Documents
Higher-output models available. The ZCV42 is also built in a high-efficiency configuration — 29,500 BTU on natural gas at up to 66.48% efficiency, or 29,000 BTU on propane at up to 68.77%. Those units use ceramic glass rather than tempered. If you are heating a large or draughty room, contact us and we will quote it.

Every fireplace ships free by freight carrier, fully insured, with liftgate service included at no charge. In-stock orders leave the warehouse in 1–3 business days, and the carrier calls you to book a delivery time that suits you.

Every shipment is insured for its full value. If anything isn't right when it arrives, tell us within 48 hours and we'll arrange a replacement or a full refund — at no cost to you.
